America 250 - Let Freedom Ring!

Did you watch the National Rededication of America on May 17, 2026? This was a faith-event held on the National Mall called for by our President. It was a day when people from all mountains of influence came together to pray, praise, and give Thanksgiving to God. It was a day when the leaders of our nation made a bold declaration: God Almighty is Lord of our Nation!
Why May 17th?
This significant event is part of the larger Freedom 250 initiative that commemorates 250 years of our Nation. But there is more to it. On May 17, 1776 - 250 years ago - the Second Continental Congress called for a nationwide day of “humiliation, fasting, and praying.” The original leaders of our nation were seeking God for unity, wisdom, and guidance as war with the British Empire became more likely. You see, our forefathers recognized the importance of prayer, fasting, and repentance. They knew that in order to be saved and blessed, the colonies needed to acknowledge God. The one true living God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Now, 250 years later, our leaders are once again calling this Nation back to God. Calling us to prayer and repentance. Calling for us to acknowledge God in every area of society, seeking God’s blessing on this Nation.
The Word of God says:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (AMP)

This is indeed a significant year for our nation, celebrating 250 years of existence! I am so grateful that we have an Administration that acknowledges our need for God. I am so grateful that we have special celebrations all across our Nation leading up to July 4, 2026. And I'm so grateful that America is calling out to God, and that we are, as a Nation, seeking His favor and blessings. We need God’s Hand of Providence on our Nation once again, just like in 1776 when this Nation was birthed. I believe God is re-birthing this nation, and it’s because we have people and very importantly, the leaders of our Nation, calling out to Him collectively once again.
